What I Managed To Get Done On Day 5

On day 4 I shot a quick video to explain what I had achieved in my challenge to work on “A Domain A Day”, in the video I admitted that my day job had knocked me back more than I was expecting although I knew it would be hard to achieve wah I could on my two days off.

Well, yesterday was Day 5 and as I type this blog post up it is early morning of day 6! You may be thinking that I’ve failed already by the fifth day, but I haven’t. I have learned that you can’t go beating yourself up and think like that because I actually did get some work done for Day 5.

So here is what I managed to achieve, I added content to the “Cold Call Cash” report, in fact, I added four and a half pages to it which brings it to almost 9 as I add to it today. So as I have just realized as I am writing now, I’m averaging 4.5 pages on a work day to a report style product, which means in a five-day working week I should be able to produce at least a 22 to 23-page report.

If I can keep that up throughout a year then I could have around 50 reports that I have to either sell as products or use as giveaways and bonus material etc I remember reading that this was a method suggested by Sean Mize in one of his product I purchased.

I Fell Asleep At The Wheel

Wel I didn’t actually fall asleep at the wheel (although I have to remember that I am no spring chicken anymore), I am using that terminology to explain as to why I didn’t get this update post online on Day 5.

I returned from work and had my evening meal and sat down at my computer at around 9:45 pm. Every day, more often than not I am sat in front of my computer in the morning at around 6:00 am and definitely no later than 6:30 am, now that’s a long day because on my work days I usually work the late shift and have to be on the road for around 10:00 am and as I mentioned earlier, I can be arriving home around 8:45 pm and later.

Last night I had the intention to complete a post for those who may be following my challenge. The truth is that one minute I was watching a method I was thinking of adding to the mix of the product I ‘m working on and the next thing I know is I’m waking up to the sound of silence and everyone but me had gone to bed! Can you relate?

So, yes I fell asleep…..to be honest I could hardly keep my eyes open as I crawled into bed.

I’m Getting Too Old For This Shit

HaHa, I love that phrase!

I may be getting old but I LOVE IM it’s in my blood and as long as I got that blood a pumpin, I will keep at it, that’s a given.

You Are Never Too Old For IM

I’ve seen people in their 80’s wanting to learn Internet Marketing and I have an online friend who is what I like to call my “North Star”, his name is Fred Furguson, I don’t know how old he is but he is certainly younger than 80 but he is older than me and he is an inspiration to me when it comes to persistence and not giving up and he seriously doesn’t give a shit either.

Fred is also a member of our secret society a private internet marketers club where you get to meet and share lots of cool IM stuff. The only way you can get in is by invite only and if you are reading this post, I want to invite you to come on over and take a look at IMS11.com

Oki Dokie then, I think that just about does the explanation for the late post and now I’m going to get stuck into today’s Domain A Day Challenge 🙂

Stay focused and enjoy today and let’s kick the procrastinator’s ass!
